22 Weeks shows the horror of abortion gone wrong
Just the audio for the trailer gives me chills, and this film may cause a firestorm. This short 20 min featurette, based on a true story, is filmed like a slasher movie, but not so overdone as to be campy. It's horrifying in the most true sense because you feel its truth. This movie is horrific, not in the entertainment sense, but in the true sense, like Schindler's List or Hotel Rawanda.
I truly hope this scares more women out of having abortions - not because I want to create fear, but because abortion should be feared as a moral and personal risk, to both body and soul. There is such a thing as healthy fear - when the risks are real and horrific.
Here's the synopsis of this TRUE STORY (and I'm sure it much more common than Planned Infanticide would want us to know)
A young woman is locked in the bathroom of an abortion clinic after her aborted baby was born alive.

I'm sure that pro-choicers will try to write this off as manipulative, but in this case, I'd say that the truth and commonness of this situation makes it all the more horrific. It's like saying that showing pictures of the Nazi death camps or Hiroshima is pure emotional manipulation, ad that we are being manipulative and not fair to the Nazis or the Americans.
