Darwin Understood the Social Application of his Theory

Evolutionists constantly try to disavow the logical link between Darwinism and social Darwinism, but no matter how they try to divorce themselves from it, even Darwin himself understood that this logical conclusion followed because humans are part of the natural order.  Below are a couple of quotes from Darwin, alongside one each by Nietzsche and Hitler.  Chilling, isn't it?  While it is often a cheap trick to compare one's ideological opponents to Hitler, in this case, made well in the recent book From Darwin to Hitler, the shoe fits perfectly.

I could show fight on natural selection having done and doing more for the progress of civilization than you seem inclined to admit. Remember what risk the nations of Europe ran, not so many centuries ago, of being overwhelmed by the Turk, and how ridiculous such an idea now is! The more civilized so-called Caucasian races have beaten the Turkish hollow in the struggle for existence. Looking to the world at no very distant date, what an endless number of the lower races will have been eliminated by the higher civilized races throughout the world.
- Charles Darwin, in a letter to William Graham dated July 3, 1881

At some future period, not very distant as measured by centuries, the civilized races of man will almost certainly exterminate and replace throughout the world the savage races.
- Charles Darwin, from The Descent of Man

The biblical prohibition "Thou shalt not kill" is a piece of naïveté compared with the seriousness of Life's own "Thou shalt not" issued to decadence: "Thou shalt not procreate!" —Life itself recognizes no solidarity, no "equal right," between the healthy and the degenerate parts of an organism… . Sympathy for the decadents, equal rights for the ill-constituted—that would be the profoundest immorality, that would be anti-nature itself as morality!
- Nietzsche

A stronger race will supplant the weaker, since the drive for life in its final form will decimate every ridiculous fetter of the so-called "humaneness" of individuals, in order to make place for the true "humaneness of nature," which destroys the weak to make place for the strong.
- Hitler

Of course, it could be argued that these are taken out of context, but I just omitted the context for the sake of brevity.  If you want context, you can read the CT article Darwin's Graveyards, or Weikart's book From Darwin to Hitler.

What? No takers? Just more grist for the mill that not only is Darwinian (and most other types of evolution) a false and bankrupt theory, but its obvious role in eugenics and nazism is part of its pedigree.

Not only taken out of context, but so badly so that you fail to note that in Descent of Man Darwin was arguing against such "exterminations."

Shame on you. To twist Darwin's words to make them appear to say exactly the opposite of what he claimed is pretty low.

Is it safe to assume you've not read Darwin's work in context? I'm hoping your actions were accidental, and not intentional.

The point is not that Darwin supported social Darwinism, but as the title suggests, he was fully aware of the implications of his theory.

The reason I emphasize this is for the naive evolutionists who don't see the obvious implications of Darwinism - even Darwin himself recognized it.

And what is even more obvious from history is the straightforward link between Darwinism and the heinous theories which used it as a scientific justification for eugenics.

What does this mean? That Darwinism forms a critical pillar of the scientific justification for atheism, various brutal, atheistic totalitarian systems of thought like socialism and communism, and as a pillar behind Nazism. Darwinists like to disavow such connections, which are abundantly clear.

Additionally, they try to obfucscate the issue with Hitler by claiming that he was Christian, when really, he was just manipulating the church, and even though he might have thought himself Christian, objective historical review of his writings show that he was not Christian in thought, but rather, anti-Christian, and pro-Darwinian.

Does all of this mean that Darwinism is evil or wrong? Not necessarily, but it does mean that we should be suspicious of any system of thought that so easily integrates with such heinous world views. Also, I am trying to show that the link is there, whether Darwin intended it. Darwinism has more in common with atheism, communism, socialism, and nazism than it does with Christianity or democracy.

What you do with those obvious facts is up to you. But facts they are, at least, that's what I am arguing - just trying to clear it up that social darwinism is a direct descendant of darwinism, even if darwinists consider it the bastard child.
