A blue season
A Duke blue season that is. This is mainly to ruffle the feathers of Daddypundit, but I thought I would mention that Duke is ranked #1 in the preseason poll (UNC is unranked) and J.J. Redick and Shelden Williams were both on the preseason All-American first team. I love college basketball and I am looking forward to this season. Anyone else have any predictions for the season which starts in less than a week.
As much as I hate to say it, Duke deserves to be #1. With everyone back from last year they are going to be tough to beat. UNC lost too much talent to early departures after last year's championship to be expected to be much of a contender this year. However, I'd rather not have the pressure of being a preseason number 1 pick. It should be an interesting season.
